during the team's walk out on the field before the Denver Summit FC game on July 3.
How amazing was it for these Summit Strikers FC players to hold the hand of KC Current US Women's National Team players, Michelle Cooper (a former player from Miriam's Michigan team), Croix Bethune, Haley Hopkins and Lo'eau LaBonta, or FIFA Best XI Temwa Chawinga!

Happy National Women and Girls in Sports Day!
Girls and women who play sports have higher levels of confidence and self-esteem and lower levels of depression, get better grades in school and are more likely to graduate than girls who do not play sports.
