High Country Soccer Mission Statement

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the High Country Soccer Association (HCSA) is to provide an optimal soccer environment where every player can develop to their fullest potential regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity, skill level or financial capabilities. Our objectives are to provide opportunities for every child and adult who wishes to play soccer and to serve Summit County by building an innovative, participant-driven soccer organization. We envision the Association as a community development tool that unites people from diverse backgrounds in a fun, healthy and safe soccer environment.
In 2001, Amy Machin-Ward, a four time collegiate national champion and member of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team began High Country Soccer. The organization started with a few teams in a loose organization. Today, the organization serves almost 2,000 participants from Tots to adults in over ten different recreational and competitive soccer programs. In 2002, High Country Soccer was granted 501(c) 3 status.
